What is Teeth Whitening?
Teeth Whitening gives you a brighter and whiter smile as well as boosting your confidence. It can help to give you a better self-image as well as making a better impression on others. The results you will see are varied for every client. This will depend on the condition of your teeth before the whitening treatment. Before we start the treatment a free of charge thorough consultation is carried out. So that both ourselves and the client knows exactly what sort of treatment will be needed. And how regular you may need it to achieve the result you desire. And what results you will receive from each treatment.
During the consultation, we take into consideration any lifestyle factors that may cause your teeth to stain or discolour. We take pictures before and after each treatment. Showing you immediate results from the treatment and you can then compare this each time you come in for a top up. Your top-ups will depend on how white you want your teeth to be. We usually recommend coming back every six months. Keeping your teeth as sparkly white as possible. To maximise your treatment, we always recommend keeping your teeth clean and avoid food and liquids that can stain your teeth. Especially for the first 48 hours as this is when the teeth are still whitening from the treatment, so you will need to be on a ‘white only’ diet.
Your diet plan for the first 48 hours after teeth whitening will need to be as pale as you can make it. This means anything that could stain a piece of paper could stain your teeth. We do have a list of do’s and don’ts for immediately after the treatment which we give to you at the end of every treatment.
