BOTOX

What is Botox?

Botox or Botulinum Toxin is an anaerobic bacteria found in soil which is purified for clinical and cosmetic uses. There are many types of Botulinum Toxins, however the most commonly used for clinical and cosmetic purposes is Botulinum Toxin type A.

How does it work?

By injection small amounts into the muscle, the Botox causes a temporary muscle paralysis which prevents muscles contracting, in which cause wrinkles and lines. This paralysis and prevention of muscle contraction creates a smoother, wrinkle free effect.
